Sulfasalazine Tablet (500mg)
SULFASALAZ is a medication used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune conditions. SULFASALAZ is available in tablet form and is taken orally. The standard dose of SULFASALAZ is usually 500mg taken 2-4 times a day, depending on the condition being treated and the patient's response to the medication. SULFASALAZ tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully when taking SULFASALAZ and to not exceed the recommended dose. Common side effects of SULFASALAZ include nausea, vomiting, headache, and stomach upset. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, contact your doctor right away.
