Sitagliptin and Metformin SR (50/500)
ST-GLIPTIN M is a combination of two medications used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Sitagliptin works by inhibiting an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas and reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver.
Metformin SR works by reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and helps the body to use insulin more effectively.
ST-GLIPTIN M will help to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. The dosage and frequency of these medications will depend on the individual patient's condition and their response to treatment.
Common side effects of ST-GLIPTIN M may include headache, sore throat, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, and stomach upset.
