Ivabradine (5mg)
IVADRIVE is a medication that is primarily used to treat certain heart conditions, specifically angina pectoris and heart failure. IVADRIVE belongs to a class of drugs called selective If-channel inhibitors or hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blockers.
IVADRIVE works by selectively inhibiting the If channels in the sinus node of the heart, which reduces the heart rate without affecting other cardiac parameters. By reducing the heart rate, IVADRIVE helps to decrease the oxygen demand of the heart, making it useful in the treatment of angina and heart failure.
IVADRIVE is primarily prescribed for patients with stable angina pectoris who cannot tolerate or have contraindications to beta-blockers. IVADRIVE is also used in the treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in patients who are already receiving standard therapy, including beta-blockers.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
