Carvedilol and ivabradine are two different medications used to treat certain heart conditions.

This makes it useful in conditions where reducing the heart rate can improve symptoms and outcomes.
Ivabradine is used to treat chronic heart failure in patients who have a reduced ejection fraction (the percentage of blood pumped out of the heart with each beat) and who are already receiving maximum tolerated doses of other heart failure medications.
