Metaprolol SR (25mg) + Ramipril (5mg) is a combination, containing Enalapril (ACE inhibitors), and Propranolol (beta-blocker). It collectively treats high blood pressure and prevents the chance of having heart failure or stroke in future. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes so high to cause heart or kidney diseases.Metaprolol SR (25mg) + Ramipril (5mg) is composed of Enalapril and Propranolol. Together they work by relaxing and widening our blood vessels (veins and arteries). It lowers the raised blood pressure and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood efficiently around the body. Hence, the chance of having any heart attack, stroke, heart-related chest pain (angina) or other cardiovascular diseases reduces significantly.
