Atorvastrin CV is used for heart attack prevention and high cholesterol. Atorvastrin CV is a combination of two drugs: Atorvastatin and Clopedogrel. Atorvastrin CV is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. Atorvastrin CV lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Atorvastrin CV is an antiplatelet medication which prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Atorvastrin CV is available in strengths of 10 and 20 mg.
