IVADINE is a medication used to treat certain heart conditions, particularly angina (chest pain) and heart failure. IVADRIVE works by reducing the heart rate, thereby decreasing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow to the heart muscle.
IVADINE inhibits a specific type of ion channel in the heart called the "funny" current (If) channel. By blocking these channels, it slows down the heart rate without affecting other aspects of cardiac function.
