Indomethacin (75mg)
INDOMATHES is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is typically used to reduce inflammation and pain. The recommended dosage of INDOMATHES may vary depending on the condition being treated and the individual's response to the medication.
For adults, the typical starting dose of INDOMATHES for mild to moderate pain or inflammation is usually 25 to 50 mg two to three times daily. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 200 mg. For acute gouty arthritis, the recommended dose is 50 mg three times daily until pain is tolerable.
It is important to follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider or the instructions on the medication label. Taking too much INDOMATHES can increase the risk of side effects, which can include stomach upset, headache, dizziness, and increased risk of bleeding or blood clots. It is also important to take INDOMATHES with food or milk to help reduce the risk of stomach upset.
