Faropinom DUO is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. Faropinom DUO kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive. Faropinom DUO is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Faropenem against bacteria.
