Dapagliflozin and Teneligliptin
GLIDAPA TENE is a combination medication that are used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Dapagliflozin belongs to a class of drugs called sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It works by blocking the reabsorption of glucose by the kidneys, which leads to increased glucose excretion in the urine and helps to lower blood glucose levels.
Teneligliptin belongs to a class of drugs called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It works by increasing the production of insulin in response to food, and by reducing the production of glucose by the liver, which helps to lower blood glucose levels.
GLIDAPA TENE may have a complementary effect on blood glucose control. Dapagliflozin can help to reduce blood glucose levels by increasing glucose excretion, while teneligliptin can help to increase insulin production and reduce liver glucose production.
Common side effects of GLIDAPA TENE may include gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhea, as well as increased risk of urinary tract infections and genital infections.
