Dapagliflozin and teneligliptin are both medications used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. 
Dapagliflozin belongs to a class of medications called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. Dapagliflozin works by blocking the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, thereby increasing the amount of glucose excreted in the urine. This mechanism of action helps lower blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, a class of medications that work by increasing the levels of incretin hormones in the body. These hormones help stimulate the release of insulin and reduce the production of glucose by the liver. By inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, teneligliptin prolongs the action of these hormones, leading to better glucose control.
