Bilastine and Montelukast are two different medications commonly used to treat various allergic conditions, particularly allergic rhinitis and asthma. 
Bilastine is an antihistamine, specifically a second-generation H1 receptor antagonist.

Montelukast belongs to a class of medications known as leukotriene receptor antagonists.
It works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, which are inflammatory chemicals in the body that can trigger asthma and allergic reactions. By blocking leukotrienes, montelukast helps reduce airway inflammation and improve breathing.
Montelukast is primarily used for the prevention and long-term management of asthma, especially in cases where other asthma medications like inhaled corticosteroids are not sufficient. It's also used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
