BENIPRIME M is a combination medication which is used to treat hypertension, also known as high blood pressure.
BENIPRIME M works by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the resistance to blood flow, which lowers blood pressure. Metoprolol succinate works by reducing the workload on the heart by slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of contractions.
BENIPRIME M is used to treat hypertension in patients who have not been able to achieve their desired blood pressure goals with either medication alone.
Common side effects of BENIPRIME M may include dizziness, headache, flushing, ankle swelling, fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath.
BENIPRIME M is available in strengths of 25 & 50mg.
