RAPIGLINIDE VOG 0.5
Repaglinide and voglibose are two medications used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Repaglinide is an oral antidiabetic drug that belongs to the class of medications known as meglitinides. Repaglinide works by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas, which helps lower blood glucose levels. It is usually taken before meals to control post-meal blood sugar spikes. The typical starting dose is 0.5 mg, taken orally up to 15 minutes before a meal. The dosage may be adjusted based on the individual's response and blood glucose levels.
Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that helps control blood sugar levels by delaying the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the small intestine. By slowing down the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into simple sugars, voglibose reduces the post-meal rise in blood glucose levels. The usual starting dose is 0.2 to 0.3 mg, taken orally three times a day before meals. The dosage may be adjusted based on the individual's response and blood glucose levels.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
