DILTITAB CD is used to treat certain cardiovascular conditions. It belongs to a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers. The sustained release formulation allows for a gradual and controlled release of the medication over an extended period of time.
DILTITAB CD is prescribed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina (chest pain) caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. It works by blocking the entry of calcium ions into the smooth muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels, leading to relaxation of the blood vessels and a reduction in heart muscle contractions. This helps to lower blood pressure and relieve symptoms of angina.
DILTITAB CD is available in strengths of 90 & 120 mg.
