CINASELECT is a medication used for the treatment of hyperparathyroidism, a condition in which the parathyroid glands produce too much parathyroid hormone (PTH). It is also used for the treatment of hypercalcemia, a condition in which there is too much calcium in the blood.
CINASELECT works by binding to calcium-sensing receptors on the parathyroid gland, which reduces the production and secretion of PTH. By doing so, it helps to regulate calcium levels in the blood.
CINASELECT is available in tablet form and is taken orally. It is usually prescribed by a doctor and should be taken according to the instructions provided.
