CINASELECT is a medication used for the treatment of hyperparathyroidism, a condition in which the parathyroid glands produce too much parathyroid hormone (PTH). It is also used for the treatment of hypercalcemia, a condition in which there is too much calcium in the blood.
CINASELECT works by binding to calcium-sensing receptors on the parathyroid gland, which reduces the production and secretion of PTH. By doing so, it helps to regulate calcium levels in the blood.
