Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate Tablets
ATOVASTRIN F is a combination of two different medications that are used together in the management of dyslipidemia, a condition characterized by abnormal levels of lipids (such as cholesterol and triglycerides) in the blood.
Atorvastatin helps to lower total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, while also increasing HDL (good) cholesterol levels.
Fenofibrate is prescribed for the management of high triglyceride levels. It helps break down triglycerides and removes them from the blood.
ATOVASTRIN F is prescribed for individuals with a mixed dyslipidemia, characterized by both high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels. ATOVASTRIN F therapy can help address both lipid abnormalities, lowering LDL cholesterol, increasing HDL cholesterol, and reducing triglyceride levels, thereby reducing the overall risk of cardiovascular events.
