RABISTRUM IT
Rabeprazole (20mg), Itopride (150mg SR)
RABISTRUM IT are both medications used to treat different gastrointestinal conditions.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric ulcers, and duodenal ulcers. Rabeprazole helps relieve symptoms like heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach pain by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. The typical dosage of rabeprazole is 20 mg taken once daily before a meal.
Itopride is a prokinetic agent that enhances the movement of food through the digestive tract. It is prescribed for the management of functional dyspepsia, a condition characterized by persistent or recurrent pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. Itopride works by increasing the muscle contractions in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby improving the symptoms associated with indigestion and slow gastric emptying. The sustained-release (SR) formulation allows for a prolonged release of the medication over time. The standard dosage of Itopride SR is 150 mg taken twice daily before meals.
