Danazol (200mg)
DANOZOLIS 200 is a medication that contains the active ingredient danazol. DANOZOLIS 200 is a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone, a hormone found in the body. DANOZOLIS 200 has both progestogenic and weak androgenic (male hormone-like) properties. DANOZOLIS 200 is primarily used in the treatment of certain gynecological conditions, including endometriosis (a condition where the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside of it), fibrocystic breast disease, and hereditary angioedema (a genetic disorder causing swelling episodes).
DANOZOLIS 200 works by suppressing the production of certain hormones, including follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which are involved in the menstrual cycle. By inhibiting the secretion of these hormones, DANOZOLIS 200 reduces the production of estrogen and progesterone, which can help alleviate symptoms associated with endometriosis, fibrocystic breast disease, and hereditary angioedema.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
