Nintedanib (100mg)
NINTEDONE is a medication used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a chronic and progressive lung disease that causes the lung tissue to become thick and scarred over time, making it difficult to breathe.
NINTEDONE is classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which works by blocking certain enzymes in the body that contribute to the formation of fibrous tissue. By blocking these enzymes, NINTEDONE can slow down the progression of IPF and improve lung function in patients with this condition.
The recommended dose of NINTEDONE is 150mg twice daily with food. It is important to follow the dosing instructions provided by your doctor and to take NINTEDONE medication at the same time each day to ensure consistent blood levels. Like all medications, NINTEDONE may cause side effects, which can include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, weight loss, and fatigue. If you experience any of these side effects or have concerns about taking NINTEDONE medication, speak to your doctor.
