Prazoshine is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Prazoshine belongs to a class of medications called alpha blockers. Prazoshine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Prazoshine is available in strengths of 2.5, and 5.00 mg.
