Olmesartan and Metoprolol (25 mg)
OLMISTRUM MT is a combination medication that are used together to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).
Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow and blood pressure to rise. By blocking the action of this hormone, olmesartan helps to relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of the heart's contractions, which also helps to lower blood pressure.
OLMISTRUM MT can have a complementary effect on blood pressure reduction, with olmesartan relaxing the blood vessels and metoprolol slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of the heart's contractions.
It is important to note that both medications can have side effects, and it is important to discuss these with your doctor before starting treatment. Additionally, these medications should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
METHIMZOLE is available in strengths of 25 & 50 mg.
