Bosentan
BOSENTIME is a medication used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries that supply blood to the lungs is abnormally high. BOSENTIME belongs to a class of drugs called endothelin receptor antagonists, which work by blocking the action of a hormone called endothelin that constricts blood vessels and increases blood pressure.
BOSENTIME is taken orally in the form of tablets and the dosage and frequency of use depend on the severity of the condition and should be determined by a healthcare provider. The medication should be taken at the same time each day and with or without food as directed.
Common side effects of BOSENTIME may include headache, flushing, stomach upset, and nasal congestion
BOSENTIME may interact with other medications, including blood thinners and certain antibiotics, so it is important to inform your healthcare provider of all medications and supplements you are taking before starting treatment.
