Torsemide and Spironolactone Tablets (20 mg)
TEROMIDE PLUS
Torsemide belongs to a class of medications called loop diuretics. It works by increasing the production of urine, which helps to remove excess fluid and salt from the body. Torsemide is commonly used to treat conditions such as edema (fluid retention) associated with heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease.
Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic and aldosterone antagonist. It acts by blocking the effects of a hormone called aldosterone, which is responsible for promoting salt and water retention in the body. By inhibiting aldosterone, spironolactone helps to reduce fluid buildup and also helps to maintain the balance of potassium levels in the body. It is often used in the management of conditions like edema, hypertension (high blood pressure), and certain hormonal imbalances.
TEROMIDE PLUS is available in strengths of 10 and 20mg.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
