Flupirtine is a non-opioid analgesic (painkiller) with muscle relaxant properties. It was primarily used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, flupirtine has been withdrawn from the market in several countries due to concerns about potential liver toxicity. 
Paracetamol is one of the most widely used over-the-counter pain relievers and fever reducers. It is effective in treating mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the brain that transmit pain signals and elevate body temperature. It is generally considered safe when used at recommended doses, but it can cause liver damage if taken in excessive amounts or combined with alcohol.
