Azathioprine (25mg)
Azathioprime is a medication that is used to suppress the immune system in order to prevent rejection of a transplanted organ or to treat certain autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and inflammatory bowel disease.
The usual dose of Azathioprime may vary depending on the condition being treated, as well as the individual's age, weight, and overall health.
The dose of Azathioprime may be gradually increased over several weeks or months, up to a maximum of 2.5mg per kilogram of body weight per day. However, the dose and dosing schedule may vary depending on the individual's condition and response to treatment.
It's important to take Azathioprime exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, at the same time every day, with or without food. Do not stop taking Azathioprime or change the dose without consulting your doctor, as doing so may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. Azathioprime may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and a decreased ability to fight infections. If you experience any side effects or have concerns about taking Azathioprime, talk to your healthcare provider.
