Telmisartan, Cilnidipine, and Chlorthalidone are medications used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels, thereby causing blood pressure to rise. By blocking the effects of angiotensin II, Telmisartan helps to relax and widen the blood vessels, reducing blood pressure. Telmisartan is usually taken once daily.
 Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) that acts on both L-type and N-type calcium channels. By blocking these calcium channels, Cilnidipine relaxes and widens the blood vessels, reducing blood pressure. Additionally, it has been suggested that Cilnidipine may have protective effects on the kidneys. Cilnidipine is also usually taken once daily.
 Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic. It works by increasing the excretion of salt and water from the body, thereby reducing the overall volume of fluid in the blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is typically taken once daily in the morning.
