LOSASTRUM is a medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with an enlarged heart. By blocking this substance, LOSASTRUM helps to widen blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
The usual starting dose of LOSASTRUM for most adults with high blood pressure is 50 mg once daily. However, some patients may be started on a lower dose of 25 mg once daily if they have liver problems, are elderly, or are taking certain medications that may interact with LOSASTRUM.
