Flavoxite is a medication used to treat urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and incontinence in people with bladder problems. Flavoxite works by relaxing the muscles in the urinary tract.
The usual dose of Flavoxite for an adult is 100-200 mg three or four times a day. It's important to take Flavoxite medication exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not take more or less of it, or take it more often than prescribed.
Some common side effects of Flavoxite include dry mouth, blurred vision, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, upset stomach, constipation, and difficulty sleeping. If you experience any severe side effects such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, or a rash, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
It's important to inform your healthcare provider of any medical conditions you have, as well as any medications or supplements you're currently taking to avoid any potential drug interactions or adverse effects.
