Drothepine is an antidepressant medicine. Drothepine used to treat depression. Drothepine also occasionally used for some types of nerve pain, such as fibromyalgia, and to prevent migraines. Drothepine is also used in the treatment of anxiety disorder. Drothepine is used in patient’s intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative other treatment options for depression. Drothepine is available in strengths of 25, 50 and 75 mg.
