Cilnidipine 20 mg

Cilnidipine is a medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It belongs to the class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers and works by relaxing the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body.

The usual starting dose of CILINITAB  is 5 mg once daily, but it may be increased to 10 mg once daily after 2 weeks of therapy. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg once daily. It is important to take cilnidipine exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, and to not stop taking it without first consulting with your doctor.

Higher doses of cilnidipine may increase the risk of side effects, such as headache, dizziness, flushing, swelling of the legs or ankles, and nausea. If you experience any severe side effects or symptoms, such as chest pain or difficulty breathing, you should seek medical attention immediately. Your doctor will monitor your blood pressure and adjust your dosage as needed to ensure that it is effective and safe for you to use.
