Beniprime 8 blocks calcium inflow into cells and consequently dilates constricted vessels to decrease blood pressure. Beniprime 8 regulates blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the pressure on them, thereby making it easier for the heart to pump more blood throughout the body. Beniprime 8 is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure) and Angina (heart-related chest pain). Beniprime 8 also dilates coronary arteries of the heart to prevent developing anginal attacks.
